1. CATEGORIES OF DATA

GREEN STAR will process your personal data, including:

Data collected automatically.
The IT systems and software procedures used for the functioning of this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain data (the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols) that may be associated with identifiable users. These data include IP addresses, domain names of the computers used by users accessing the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical status code returned by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system, browser, and IT environment. These data are processed, for the time strictly necessary, solely for statistical purposes and to ensure the correct functioning of the site. The provision of such data is mandatory as it is directly connected to the web browsing experience.

Data voluntarily provided by the user.
The voluntary and explicit sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site does not require consent; the compilation of specifically provided forms implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender/user's address and data, necessary to respond to their requests and/or provide the requested service. Emails voluntarily sent to our addresses do not require additional information notices or consent requests. However, specific summary notices will appear on pages dedicated to particular services (forms), and users must expressly consent to the use of the data provided in such forms in order to submit their request.

This site uses cookies. Data collected through cookies may be used to access certain sections of the site, for statistical purposes, or to improve the browsing experience by analysing user behaviour and adjusting content offerings accordingly. The personal data processed by GREEN STAR are collected directly from the data subject.

5. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING

The processing of your data is based on your consent and is carried out for the following purposes:

  • Improving the web browsing experience;

  • Using the data provided through emails or forms to respond to specific requests;

  • Analysing user behaviour to adapt content and offerings accordingly.

 

6. DATA RECIPIENTS

Within the limits relevant to the aforementioned purposes, your data may be communicated to partners, consulting firms, private companies, or entities appointed as Data Processors by the Controller, or when required by law or necessary to fulfil your requests. Your data will not be disseminated. Data Processors and Persons Authorised to process data are listed in the Privacy Documentation, updated periodically.

 

7. TRANSFER OF DATA ABROAD

The collected data are not transferred to foreign affiliates of the Controller.

 

8. RETENTION PERIOD

The data will be stored for no longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they are processed (“storage limitation principle,” Art. 5 GDPR) or according to legal deadlines. Periodic checks are carried out to ensure that retained data remain relevant to the stated purposes.

 

9. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You have the right to request from the Controller: access to your data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent—at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

 

10. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF CONSENT

Providing your data is mandatory during your navigation of our website for purposes E.1 and E.2 listed above, in order to ensure correct service delivery. Providing consent for purpose E.3 is optional and will not affect the service provided.

 

11. METHODS OF DATA PROCESSING

The personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with the GDPR and the confidentiality principles guiding the Controller’s activities. Data will be processed using electronic tools, paper records, or any other suitable medium, in compliance with the security measures under Art. 5(1)(f) of the GDPR.
